Property Details

From its waterfront location, high on the cliffs, Siren’s Song overlooks dazzling sunsets, as well as glorious, long distance sea and ocean views with several outlaying islands and cays. On a clear day you can see Puerto Rico to the West and St. Croix to the South. The sky on clear nights is simply breath-taking.

The House – Main Level: A terra-cotta replica Chinese emperor welcomes you into Siren's Sons' foyer where a waterfall ushers you into this luxurious villa. Ahead is a cozy sitting area with six chairs and steps leading down to the pool level below. To your right is the gourmet kitchen, breakfast bar and dining area, with alfresco dining on the terrace beyond. The terrace has a gas grill and 2 dining tables each with a sun umbrella for shade and 6 chairs. The dining area has a 12 ft dining table with 14 matching dining chairs. To your left is a powder room, the living area with three comfy white sofas and media centers. Further to the left an archway leads to 3 air conditioned bedrooms ( 2 king and 1 twin) and 2 bathrooms. The king bedroom with forest views has a separate outdoor entrance. The main level has Italian ceramic tiles on the floors, with scattered rugs and natural wood ceilings. Furnishings are largely mahogany reproduction Caribbean antiques with art work collected from around the world by the owners.

The House – Upper Level: Siren’s Song’s upper level, accessed by a stylishly curved staircase from the main level has 4 air conditioned bedrooms, each with a 4 poster, king size bed and en-suite bath, and its own private balcony with sea and island views. There is a sofa bed in a smaller air-conditioned bedroom, which has an enclosed washer / dryer laundry, perfect for small children who must be near parents. Another sofa bed is on the large atrium landing of the upper level. A deck with chairs extends along a portion of the upper level, with forest views, swept by refreshing Caribbean trade-winds. The upper level has wooden floors, with scattered rugs and wooden cathedral ceilings. Furnishings are largely mahogany reproduction Caribbean antiques with art work collected from around the world by the owners.

The House – Pool Level: At the pool level, five fountains cascade into the infinity edge pool, which overlooks the lower level gardens, Caribbean Sea and several uninhabited islands. The pool is four feet deep and has benches along the sides for sitting in the pool. The pool is surrounded by green lawns and lawn furniture and there is a double sink wet bar. Additionally the pool level has a second grill and a refrigerator. There is also exercise equipment, pool toys, beach toys, a half bathroom, outdoor shower and second washer and dryer. Under the wet bar is snorkel equipment pool exercise equipment and fishing gear.

The Beach: On the beach to the East of Mermaids Chair, the land belongs to the owners of Siren's Song and they have for your enjoyment some umbrellas for shade, tables chairs and loungers. There are also 3 kayaks. From Mermaids Chair you can take a short hike across Little St Thomas to natural boulder rock pools washed by the sea. For the more adventurous a mile hike will take you to another beach within The Preserve at Botany Bay, called Sandy Bay. Mermaids Chair, Little St Thomas and Sandy Bay are generally deserted and you will probably be the only people there. Spend your sun spangled days snorkeling, shelling, beachcombing, fishing, hiking, kayaking, picnicking and luxuriating in the natural boulder pools.

Exceeded all expectations by Ian S 05/27/2015
Siren’s Song exceeded all our expectations, which were very high. This villa and its surroundings are absolutely spectacular. We’ve stayed many times in the Caribbean, but nothing else comes close to Siren’s Song, which is spacious and very well appointed with every amenity we could wish for. The views are incredible and magnificent. The location is private, serene and peaceful - its like being on a private island and yet only a 15 minutes drive to all the activities of Charlotte Amalie.

This is the best family vacation ever. There are 14 of us and we can all eat together around the 12 ft dining table. The infinity edge pool with built in seats is just great for all ages. The peaceful lower gardens are ideal to relax and read a good book. The kids can kick around balls on the “tennis court” sized lawns. We have never before seen night skies with such clarity, because there is no light pollution at Siren’s Song.

We really enjoy being so close to Mermaids Chair beach and strolling down in a few minutes whenever we feel like it. We haven’t seen another person on the beach our entire stay.
Great Family Vacation Spot by Sandi Z 05/05/2015
Our family of 11 spent a week at this beautiful house. The accommodations were great along with the pool and private beach. There was plenty of room and we were very comfortable. We had 7 adults and 4 children - ages 7, 5, 15 months and 9 months. We were very close to mermaids chair and also enjoyed a nearby beach called the Sandy Beach where the big kids body surfed. Please be aware of the construction at sandy beach so use caution. Megan's bay which was about 40 mts away was another beautiful spot to spend the day. Beautiful sand, water and activities plus a restaurant. We had groceries delivered to the house which was very helpful. The owner was quick to respond when we had questions prior to our arrival as well as the caretaker of the property. The location was private and we felt safe. Lots of memories were made at this beautiful home.
Fantastic Location by John B 12/04/2014
Best House for Any Event by Missy 08/25/2014
This house is way better in person than photos could ever capture. We rented it for a bachelorette party and it was perfect. We all loved the house, the pool, the private beach, the setting and, in particular, the caring and outstanding hospitality of the owners. They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for the week, and both were so very helpful in the planning and organizing such a large event.

We all cannot recommend this house enough, and thank Lynda and Marshall a thousand times over.

Beautiful, clean and more-than-memorable!!!
Pictures Don't Do It Justice by Anna C 08/25/2014
Everything on this site does not do the house justice. Lynda and Marshall were incredibly helpful and accommodating and made sure we were comfortable for the duration of our trip. The house was perfect, the views were better than any photo could offer, the rooms were clean and the air conditioning made for great nights sleep after long days out in the sun. It was very nice that The Preserve was in a gated area so you felt safe and comfortable when you were running around, leaving the doors unlocked.

For such a large house, the kitchen was great and there was enough seating for large families! One of my favorite parts of the stay was the private beach. The owners have everything you need so you never have to carry chairs - it's all down there for you! They have a tent, chairs and even kayaks.

If you can rent this place out, do it immediately. It was really hard to leave because we had such an amazing trip, it felt like a dream. Thank you for your help and allowing us to stay at your beautiful home!
It was a vacation of a life time. by Sheila Pavlik 05/12/2014
It was a vacation of a life time. Siren's Song lived up to and surpassed our expectations and we had very high expectations. It was like living in a dream. The views and the sunsets were spectacular. Sandy Bay Beach was so gorgeous that we sat there each day and couldn't believe that we had the whole beach to ourselves. The kayaks, chairs, snorkel gear, and paddle boards were ready for us to use. The grandkids loved, love, loved the big waves. They did a lot of fishing too. It was misting when we got off the plane and for the rest of the week we had sunshine. Who wouldn't love that pool? All of us, from 5 month old Hugo to 73 year old Grandpa were in it every day. Kylan, our first grader, learned to swim the length of the pool. Four year old Emily was proud of her cannonballs from the side of the pool. Oh, what to say about the beautiful villa…spacious, fabulous bedrooms with great views of the ocean, immaculate, open, yet warm and inviting. The big dining room table was just what we needed. The first night we arrived we hired Kat to do the cooking…that was a treat. We loved her food and she made enough to last for two days. We hired her again later in the week. We ate all six dozen of her chocolate chip cookies and her oatmeal raisin cookies were irresistible. She was very careful with our allergy issues. We were fortunate to have Pastor Whyte available for fixing things. He was a true gentleman and a pleasure to meet. We didn't hesitate to call the housekeeper, Heather, when we needed something. She was right there and willing to take care of us.
We are all living busy, stressful lives. Botany Bay with its 300 acres was just what we needed. We will always treasure our memories of Siren's Song.
Definitely the Best by Emily 04/22/2014
We all had a wonderful time at Siren's Song villa. We just loved the Preserve at Botany Bay. It was such a beautiful location and everything ran just perfect. We had the beach at Mermaids Chair to ourselves and were amazed by the awesome colorful corals and variety of tropical fish. There were several in our group that have travelled to some pretty nice places and each one of us said how Siren's Song was definitely the BEST!
