You approach the house from below and drive up to the parking area on the upper level of this 2-level villa. A tropical walkway leads to the main entrance which opens to the great room that contains the living, dining and kitchen areas. There are two bedroom/baths on the upper level on either side of the great room, and three more bedroom/baths on the lower level which is accessed by interior and exterior stairs. Both the upper and lower levels have decks that run the entire length of the house, while on the west side of the villa a large sundeck, waterfall, lagoon pool and hot tub is bordered by lush tropical gardens.
Living & Dining: The 700 square foot living room has tiled floors and cathedral ceilings with skylights and is dominated by a 20' wall of glass that provides gorgeous views from everywhere in the room. The comfortable rattan upholstered furniture seats 10-12. Entertainment is provided by a cable color TV/VCR/DVD and stereo/cassette. A tiled bar/counter separates the kitchen from the dining room which has a glass topped rattan table that seats 6-8. A sliding glass door leads to the covered main dining deck with a teak table that seats 10-14, while the west dining deck seats 6-8 on teak furniture and the table on the pool deck seats 6-8.
Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with two refrigerators, a stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, ice maker, blender, toaster oven, coffeemaker, china, cookware, dishes and utensils. There are two washer/dryers on the lower level.
Bedroom Details: Each of the 5 spacious bedrooms (4 kings, 1 set of twins) has some unique features, but all enjoy truly lovely views that you'll fondly remember. All also have screened sliding glass doors that open to gentle breezes, and cozy private decks that are perfect for evening cocktails or tranquil Caribbean mornings. Two of the bedrooms are located on the upper level while an inside stairway leads to the lower 3 bedrooms. All bedrooms are equipped with a cable color TV/VCR, and all have a private tiled bath and shower.
It's a 15 minute drive into or from Cruz Bay and the last 1/2 mile is a bumpy dirt road intended to discourage tourists and remain a peaceful atmosphere.
