Also known as “Rock City” for its hilly terrain, St. Thomas is the most visited island and home to the capital, Charlotte Amalie. St. John

Known for being the flattest of the islands, Anegada is the only coral island in the Virgin Islands volcanic chain. Virgin Gorda

When Christopher Columbus discovered Virgin Gorda, he named the island after its distinct shape of a reclining woman or “Fat Virgin”.
